GLP-1 Pen vs Vial Cost Comparison

Compare two verified out-of-pocket quotes over twelve calendar months. Use the same days supplied for both quotes. A formulation change requires your prescriber; the calculator does not establish interchangeability or product availability.

All entries must use one currency; no exchange conversion is performed.
Blank = 0. Enter your actual supplies allocation; no syringe-use schedule is assumed.

Method, assumptions and limits

Annual pen cost = monthly pen quote ×12. Annual vial cost = (monthly vial quote + extra monthly supplies) ×12. The signed difference is pen minus vial. A negative difference means the vial scenario costs more. Zero-cost quotes are accepted.

No drug prices or unverified presentations are prefilled. A 28-day price is not a calendar-month quote: use the annual calculator for days-supply billing and full refill payments. Include only costs not already included in the quoted price.

Correction October 19, 2026: removed unverified drug/formulation price examples, an unsupported syringe-box monthly allocation and claims that every result is a saving. Inputs now accept zero and reject negative or malformed amounts.
